In celebration of our 35th Anniversary, we proudly announce LEGACY MN FPS<\/strong>!\u00a0\u00a0LEGACY seeks to raise $10,000 annually by employing the POWER OF 100 \u2013 100 donors giving $100<\/em> or more.\u00a0\u00a0The majority of the funds raised through LEGACY will be awarded as grants to Minnesota’s future problem solvers!\u00a0 LEGACY will also establish a permanent endowment.\u00a0 Your donation to LEGACY MN FPS will help students today and help ensure that FPS is available to Minnesota students for another 35 years!\u00a0<\/p>\n

Any size donation is\u00a0welcome!\u00a0 All donations are tax-deductible!<\/p>\n

LEGACY MN FPS GOALS:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

1.\u00a0 GRANTS TO STUDENTS!<\/strong><\/p>\n

To State Winners:<\/em>\u00a0 We would like ALL state winners to attend the International Conference- regardless of their ability to pay.\u00a0 Grants will be awarded to help with expenses.\u00a0 Each year students from Minnesota bring home top honors!<\/p>\n

To MN FPS Teams Making a Difference in Their Communities:\u00a0<\/em> Community Problem Solving teams work to apply learned problem solving skills to areas of concern in their school or community.\u00a0 Grants will be given to help teams accomplish their project goals.<\/p>\n

2. ANOTHER 35 YEARS OF MINNESOTA STUDENTS SOLVING PROBLEMS!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Approximately 20% of donations will remain in an endowment.\u00a0 Future goals may include subsidizing registration costs, awarding a “graduating senior” scholarship, start-up help for schools new to FPS, and providing enhanced training opportunities for coaches.<\/p>\n

PLEASE HELP US ACCOMPLISH OUR GOAL – BE A LEGACY DONOR!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

All donations of $25 or more will be recognized on our website and in the State program.<\/p>\n

Donors of $100 or more will receive special recognition as POWER of 100 Donors<\/a>\u00a0here on our website, on displays and\/or hand-outs at our Regional Competitions in January, and at the State Competition in March. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Interested in giving at a higher level?<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0 Donors of $250 or more will be classified as Foundational Donors, they will be recognized in all the above mentioned places, and will also have the option to have their logo or photograph displayed.\u00a0<\/p>\n
