{"id":136,"date":"2015-07-16T00:09:20","date_gmt":"2015-07-16T00:09:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost\/wordpress\/2015\/07\/16\/karlyn-doyle-2015-wem-foundation-outstanding-educator-award-honoree\/"},"modified":"2015-07-16T00:09:20","modified_gmt":"2015-07-16T00:09:20","slug":"karlyn-doyle-2015-wem-foundation-outstanding-educator-award-honoree","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mnfpsp.org\/index.php\/2015\/07\/16\/karlyn-doyle-2015-wem-foundation-outstanding-educator-award-honoree\/","title":{"rendered":"Karlyn Doyle, 2015 WEM Foundation Outstanding Educator Award Honoree"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/mazlawfirm.com\/tmp\/33971-2.png\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: left;\" align=\"center\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif';\">For the second year in a row, a MN Future Problem Solving Coach has been honored by the <a href=\"http:\/\/synergyexchange.org\/Celebrate\/WEM.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WEM Foundation<\/a>\u00a0as an Outstanding Educator.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: left;\" align=\"center\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/mazlawfirm.com\/tmp\/33971-2.png\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: left;\" align=\"center\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: left;\" align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-135\" src=\"http:\/\/localhost\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Karlyn_Doyle_with_parents_Bonny_and_John_Doyle_May_2015_sm.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"576\" height=\"383\" \/>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: left;\" align=\"center\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: .0001pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif';\">Karlyn Doyle, pictured with her proud parents, Bonny and John Doyle, has been a teacher and academic coach for 23 years.\u00a0 She currently teaches Spanish, Global Communications, and Media Technology to students in grades 6-8 and coaches Global Issues Problem Solving and Community Problem Solving, both components of the Future Problem Solving Program.\u00a0 Karlyn also coaches Knowledge Bowl.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: .0001pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif';\">&#8220;Future Problem Solving is a competition, but Karlyn isn&#8217;t concerned about the trophy.\u00a0 She&#8217;s concerned about students growing and showing them they can create their own positive futures,&#8221; said Cheryl Whitesitt, Executive Director of the Minnesota Future Problem Solving Program (FPSP).<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: .0001pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman','serif';\">Karlyn began coaching the Global Issues Problem Solving Component in 2005, and Community Problem Solving (CmPS) in 2012.
